Temperature, solar radiation, precipitation, wind and relative humidity are the major agro meteorological parameter for making decision in agricultural production . Those factors varies on different species. In case of rice, high temperature, high rainfall, high solar radiation i.e.10 to 14 light hours , high relative humidity and gentle wind are favored. Wheat can be grown from very low to fairly high i.e. spring or winter wheat. Wheat can be grown without the irrigation as the residual soil moisture is enough. Maize is a C4 plant and requires bright sunny days . In maize, moisture is the most limiting factor for crop production. The minimum irrigation schedule include the irrigation during the 50 to 56 DAS. The temperature requirement of the potato crop varies depending upon the growth stages and other factors are as similar to the crops. Temperature highly  influence in the Sucrose formation and accumulation of the sugars in sugarcanes. Growth of stalk is closely related to the daylight in Sugarcane.
